CURIOSITA'
Vanness prende il suo nome dalla strada in cui viveva "Van Ness". Comincia la sua carriera di cantante molto giovane formando la band L.A Boyz negli Usa. A 18 anni lascia l'America per tornare nella patria d'orgine dei suoi genitori, Taiwan. Fa parte della boyband F4 con Jerry Yan, Vic Chou e Ken Chu.
E' di religione Protestante, l'unico non buddista fra gli F4. Ha collaborato con vari artisti, tra cui Beyoncé e Coco Lee e prodotto l'album "Scandal" con la star coreana Kangta.Ha anche diretto due video tratti dal suo album V.DUBB.
E' un bravissimo imprenditore, ha diversi interessi in varie attività, abbigliamento, scarpe, nightclub, un'agenzia di produzione e registrazione e recentemente nella gioelleria, ha infatti disegnato e prodotto la sua prima linea di gioielli.
Parla correntemente Inglese e Mandarino. Vanness ha tre piercing, due alle orecchie e uno all'ombellico. Adora il cibo giapponese.
